Alcohol and Drug Policy

BPGIC strictly prohibits the use, sale, possession or presence of alcohol or illegal drugs by any employee while on Company premises, engaged in Company business, while operating Company equipment or vehicles or under the authority of the Company.

Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs can seriously impair an individual’s judgement and reactions leading to an increased risk of accidents and injuries occuring.

Violation of this Policy is cause for the immediate termination of employment. The Company reserves the right to have all employees tested, screened and/or searched on Company property for the drug and alcohol use, as it deems necessary as long as these procedures do not violate any existing Laws.

All employees shall be responsible to report immediately any concerns with regards to the action or performance of any other employee who is under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
