Responsibilities:

FP&A Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate budgetary inputs.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial performance, including variance analysis, trend identification, and key performance indicators. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Assist in the evaluation of potential business opportunities and investment decisions.
  • Reporting: Generate regular financial reports and ad-hoc analyses to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, compliance with the UAE Tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time, identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), and accounting software (D365).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role. Experience in financial planning and analysis as well as hands-on accounting is required.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on both financial analysis and detailed accounting.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both financial analysis and accounting tasks.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
